Mahindra Scorpio N – All balck theme model launch with premium look

Mahindra Scorpio N: Mahindra Scorpio N, a modern take on a distinctly Indian SUV that has been a favorite of the country’s motoring scene for more than 20 years.

Featuring a rugged design, comfortable interior and clever features, the SCORPIO N was all set to cater to a diverse age group—from young budding families to adventure seekers.

A Bold Exterior That Gets Attention

The Scorpio N is all about taking forward the heritage of the original Scorpio in a more contemporary and premium look. At the front, the car gets the aggressively styled front fascia, signature grille with chrome slats, LED projector headlamps and dynamic LED indicators making it look like a boss on road.

Its muscular character is enhanced by the tall stance, flared wheel arches and large alloy wheels.

The difference with the Scorpio N is that it really looks like an SUV –  solid, rugged, and ready for all kinds of terrain.

Whether sitting in a city driveway or heaving over hilly backroads, it seems like a serious machine.

Premium and Spacious Cabin

On the inside, the Scorpio N is much higher quality than its predecessor. The cabin gets soft-touch components, and a leatherette finishing is used for the dashboard and the seats, while there is a dual-tone interior theme in place.

It includes items such as a large touchscreen infotainment interface, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, push-button start and a premium Sony sound system.

The first- and second-row seats are roomy and comfortable, offering plenty of leg- and headroom.

The third row is really only for kids or short journeys and while flexible, impacts on boot space when deployed.

Engines and Driving The new VW Golf also offers a range of engine options to choose from.

Powering the Mahindra Scorpio N are two engine choices – a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol unit and a 2.2-litre diesel. Both are offered with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions.

Especially the diesel engine has a nice punchy torque and enj isy on highways, and confident during offroad.

The new suspension setup, which features a Watt’s linkage at the rear, means the ride quality has improved massively. The Scorpio N feels more settled at high speeds, and body roll is relatively well controlled for a ladder-on-frame SUV.

The steering is light for low speed work, and weights up nicely at highway speeds, making the Seicento easy to navigate in the city and on the highway.

Technology and Features

The Scorpio N comes with tons of 21st-century tech. It features a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, built-in navigation and voice command.

It also comes with a sunroof, cruise control, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and several drive modes in the 4×4 versions.

Some users have having some weird stuff happening to the infotainment system — like lag and unresponsiveness.

With that said, we’ve seen Mahindra to release ‘n’ number of software updates to fix such issues.
